I can't believe we only have one semester of school left! But as a senior in the Communications department, Barry had to do a 50 hour project and then present it to the school. He started his "Closet Geek" podcast with his four brothers nearly a year ago for this project, and it has been an awesome experience. Last week's podcast had over 120 listeners! That's so exciting because it takes years to build a fan base, and they have been doing so well! He even has a few European listeners who love the show! He and his brothers have decided to keep going and I see great things in their future!
So here is his display for the showcase. There were about 50 students and each one got half a table to present their project. He gave out super hero candy and wore the rainbow bow tie he just got from a Geek-themed "Loot Crate" box. (check out www.lootcrate.com if you want to know what I'm talking about).
We also printed off a Closet Geek t-shirt and did a drawing for that.
It was a great and fun night! And I am so proud of his hard work.
